Deep Roots

I’m one of you, I've got deep roots here and have been proud to call the Waitaki home for the past 27 years, coming back to the district after mustering in the late 1960s to raise my family. Drawn by the land, people and potential, the Waitaki has allowed people to live great lives and have opportunity to prosper.

This District’s future matters to me because our future matters. I’m passionate about looking after our communities and fighting for what’s best for the Waitaki.

I’ve spent years farming, running businesses, and managing teams - experience that taught me leadership, problem-solving, and how to get things done. For over a decade, I’ve served as one of your Councillors, working alongside staff and community members to deliver real results.

I am committed to serving the community’s interests. Not my own.
